i just took my third MGMAT cat and scored a 740(q47 v45). i was pretty happy with my score, but on analysing the test, i saw that i had a total of 16 mistakes in quant and 12 of those mistakes were in the 15 700-800 level questions that i encountered. i was wondering whether it's possible to get a q47 with this accuracy in the high level questions. i got this doubt because i scored a q44 in the second CAT in which my performance was better(overall performance: accuracy, performance on high level questions etc) than my performance in the third cat.
also, i seem to have run out of 700-800 level questions in the verbal section. the last 7-8 questions i saw on the third cat were 600-700 level ones. i find this surprising because i haven't scored in the 90th percentile in the first two tests. my verbal scores for the tests were 33 and 38. is it possible that the difficult bank got over by the third test?
