Three metal cubes with edges 6cm, 8cm and 10cm respectively are melted together and formed into a single cube. Find the side of the resulting cube.

IMO: 12

volume of new cube = 10^3 + 8^3 +6^3


==> 2^3(5^3+4^3+3^3)

==> 2^3(216)

==> 2^3*6^3

==> 12^3

so side = 12
