At Megafoods, what is the total cost of one banana and one apple?

(1) 3 apples and 4 bananas cost a total of $3.05

(2) 4 apples and 4 bananas cost a total of $3.60

divide statement 2 by 4 you will get

A + B = 0.9 - sufficient

Statement 1 - 3A + 4B = 3.05 - Insufficient
