Quick question:

Does (A) always convey the correct meaning? Even if structurally incorrect.

Also, is it good practice to read and look for meaning issues before checking for parallelism, modifers, structure issues?

It is possible for A to convey a nonsensical meaning.

When we read the original sentence, we should discern the intended meaning so that we can eliminate any answer choices that do not convey this meaning.
MANY answer choices can be eliminate solely for errors of meaning.
