THE MEAN WEIGHT OF A GROUP OF 11 MEN IS 70KG . WHT IS THE MEAN WT OF THE REMAINING GP WHN A MAN 90KG LEAVES??
let total weight of 11 men=x;
therefore we have x/11=70; x=770;
now when 90 kg man leaves the group,remaining number of men will be 10 and their mean weight can be given as
x-90/10=770-90/10=68
O Excellence... my search for you is on... you can be far.. but not beyond my reach!

Hi marmar29,

Please provide answer choices when posting questions.
There are many instances on the GMAT when one can use the answer choices to quickly find the correct answer without performing lengthy calculations.

Cheers,
Brent
