Beat The GMAT is searching for a team of 5-8 volunteers* to champion MBA Watch, the largest social media platform for MBA applicants, for the entire 2013-2014 application cycle. From well-established MBA Watch schools likeHarvard,StanfordandWharton, to MBA programs that recently became part of our portfolio such asZicklin,UB TowsonorESSEC, we are looking to you to help strengthen and build these communities for our members.

The Profile of a School Champion

  • Dedicated BTG member, past, current or 2013-2014 MBA applicant;
  • Willing to commit to the entire MBA Admissions cycle, Aug 2013 Aug 2014;
  • Ability to organize and follow through on a specific task;
  • Team-player ability to work with the rest of the School Champions team to reach a common goal, i.e. increase traffic and engagement on MBA Watch;
  • Thought-leader with an interest in sharing best practices with fellow MBA applicants;
  • Strong written communication skills ability to start discussions, source and share relevant topics, and anticipate questions of interest to our members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with fellow applicants by asking/answering questions;
  • Encourage member-to-member communication;
  • Moderate discussions on the comment walls (quality control, spam moderation, content curation);
  • Feed school related articles to appropriate comment walls;
  • Encourage submission of application stats;
  • Work with our dedicated team of experts and admissions officers to host office hours;
  • Organize and host chat parties around admissions and notification deadlines throughout the 2013-2014 application cycle.

* Please note that this is a volunteer position that would require your availability for the entire 2013-2014 application cycle (i.e. August 2013 to August 2014).
