Achieve Your Dreams and Meet New Friends

by Beat The GMAT, Jun 12, 2010

The Beat The GMAT Team has been very busy in the last few months developing some exciting new initiatives for our community. Be sure to keep coming back over the next few weekswe have some very cool things that were rolling out!

For this week in particular, Im pleased to announce two new initiatives that we launched on Beat The GMAT in the last few days: The Achieve Your Dreams Conference and Beat The GMAT MeetUps.

Achieve Your Dreams

On July 7, Beat The GMAT will be hosting its first free GMAT & MBA Conference: Achieve Your Dreams: The GMAT, B-School, and Everything After.

In this event, well be showcasing presentations that highlight the total MBA experience: from preparing for the GMAT to pursuing your career after b-school. Weve lined up an impressive roster of speakers for this event. Check out the agenda here and be sure to RSVP.

This conference will be streaming live on the Internet, so try to check out a session as you have time during that day. And for those of you who are located in the San Francisco Bay Areawe invite you to attend in person; in-person attendees can RSVP here. Well feed you breakfast and lunch!

Beat The GMAT MeetUps

One of the things I love most about our community is that our members actively try to meet in real life to support each other. Today Im happy to announce that weve made arranging local meet ups much easier.

On the right-hand side of our site, youll now see a new black widget for Beat The GMAT MeetUps. Anyone can now click on that widget or go this BTG MeetUps site to organize and promote a meet up in your town. Its super easy to use! In just the past few days weve had dozens of new meet ups organized by our own members around the world.

Find a group or organize your own group in a city near youMBA admissions doesnt have to be a journey that you take by yourself!

Stay Tuned For More

This weeks announcements are just the tip of the iceberg. So much more to come, so stay tuned!

All the best,
