Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. Am planning to apply for an MBA this year, so that would be for admissions in fall 2015. I am at a bit of a cross-roads at the moment in deciding whether or not to go ahead with an MBA, wondering if that is the right thing to do. One aspect which appealed to me was a few colleges which offer specializations in entertainment and media. I have always wanted to make a shift to these industries albeit in a creative capacity, but have realized that it may be better to do an MBA first and enter the industry in a managerial capacity to begin with, maybe for brand management or marketing. In light of the same I had two questions:
1) What sort of job opportunities arise in these industries post MBA
2) Which colleges are advisable for such specialization - I have heard of UCLA, Stern, Columbia and perhaps USC, but any others?
Thanks on advance!
