Hi,
I had a question regarding the short answer questions for the online MBA application. This is with particular reference to the Harvard Online application, however does affect other schools too.
Within the online application there are a number of short-answer questions dotted throughout.
For example: The employment section allows you to describe your role (no word count) and then asks for Key accomplishments (200 characters max) and then key challenges (200 characters max)
Also this is seen in the question marked how does pursuing and MBA support your choices of industry above? (500 characters max)
I just wanted to check do we have to answer these questions in full sentences or can we use a resume style of writing to answer?
eg for key accomplishments:
1) " I developed and led a successful team that did XYZ"
or
2) "Developed and led successful team that"
Naturally the 2nd version will save on character and word usage and thus you would be able to say more. However I wanted to check whether the admissions board will be expecting essay style answers in full sentences?
Many thanks
Avi
