Hi!

I am planning to apply to MBA program in Singapore or Hong Kong. Currently, I am living in Scandinavia, but there seems to be few admission consultants on my time zone.

I would like to hear your recommendations! Is there some Scandinavian / European admission consultants who have specialized to Asian business schools?

Would it make sense to contact some admission consultant in Asia? Could Asian based admission consultant bring some added value to my MBA application?

How about the time zone issue? Would it be difficult to work with consultant who is located on the another side of the world?

Is there anything else that I should keep in mind when selecting admission consultant?

Thanks for your feedback and recommendations!!!

Not sure you need to get a consultant who specializes in Asian business schools, because most all b-schools admissions committees are looking for similar traits common across the board: leadership experience, innovation, teamwork and maturity to name the big four. This is why most people end up applying to a wide variety of schools. The best thing to do is to find a good general admissions consultant--this method should fare you better in the long run.

cohos,

Working with a consultant *outside* your time zone may actually be an ideal situation for you. For example, I am in San Diego, so your evenings correspond to my mornings: an ideal scheduling overlap. I work via Skype calls (video or otherwise) so the distance factor is not an issue. I have also worked extensively with applicants from Europe (as well as Asia). Feel free to send me your resume/CV.
