mba.com down for site maintenance - where to get gmatprep?

problem resolved; thank you, indiantiger!

Hi all
I've been waiting around all day to download the GMATPrep software but I have no idea when MBA.com is going to come back up!! This has really put a wrench in my plans... i take the gmat next saturday morning and was planning on using the GMATPrep official tests this weekend to try things out since I finally managed to borrow someone's pc (gmatprep not kosher with macs!).

ANyone have any idea about when mba.com is back online? Or if anyone can email me an install-software for gmatprep software, that would be AMAZINGLY helpful.[/b]

I know that site maintenance is being performed. For any web based service

a) a proper notification should be given.
b) they should have a maintenance page not a router info page.
c) their site maintenance I guess was from 14th 6pm to 6am today, and they were back temporarily after which probably their new code or new system had some glitch so they pulled the site back to fix the problem.

Just my 2/100 cents

It's been a while since this post, but the OP says it all. Please help me locate the prep software, or if you know indicate when the site will be back up?

Thanks!

Hi ad586,

It appears that both www.mba.com and www.gmac.com are currently down for 'site maintenance.' My guess is that it shouldn't be for too long, but unfortunately I don't think that anyone posting in this Forum will have an exact answer for when the site will be back up. If you're going to be in front of a computer waiting for the sites to come back up, then you could do some general GMAT/MBA practice or research while you wait.
