Hey all,

Great to post back to beatthegmat forum after a really long time. I have the following two offers:
1. TAMU Mays Business school. Have great scholarships from here in addition to Resident status.
2. Olin Business school. Having a scholarship of $40000 over 2 years.

I know I am spoilt for choices. Can someone help me choose between these 2 schools?

Well, Olin has better overall prestige, I feel. But it doesn't necessarily mean that Mays is not right for you. They match up pretty close, and if the advantages to Mays are great, it could be the right one for you. Anyhow I feel like we have too little info to really say what you should do... just airiang some ideas, good sir.

Hey Jon,

Thanks for your opinion.

An MBA from Mays would cost me less than half than that an MBA from Olin would. This is what makes me drift towards Texas over Missouri. :)

Moreover, I guess the programs are quite similar in quality. My research states that Mays is a better bet than Olin, even if the cost is same. Can you shed some more light on this?

Also, can you let me know on what recruiters think about MBA grads from each of these schools?
