Hey guys...i'm really just frustrated and i need help i cant seem to focus. Math on the GMAT is really frustrating me. Does ANYONE HAVE ADVICE FOR SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ALL THE MATH CONCEPTS BUT IS ALWAYS FREAKING OUT WHEN HE/SHE TAKES MATHS SECTIONS ON THE PRACTICE TEST. Right now i'm so discouraged, i've been trying to work math problems on the 800 score practice tests and they seem so hard. Any advice PLSSS!!!!

Not 800score, but GMAC will test you. So why don't you practice with OG problems and have a feeling of what you will actually face on the test day.

Hey thanks a lot, i'll do just that.Is the 800 score a bad test to take. The english is actually okay its just the math that messes me up. i actually took a GMAT prep test last weekend and weird thing is i'm not sure of what i scored i know i missed 17 questions on both the math and verbal sections you have any ideas on what score range that would be in?

I have totally been in the same boat, so let me make three suggestions.

1.) Go and get Project Advanced Math from Veritas Prep

2.) Go and sign up for the advanced math class from Manhattan GMAT

3.) Work the more difficult math questions at the GMAT Practice Questions page.

4.) Rework the most difficult OG questions.

Honestly, there is only one solution: practice until you get yourself confident. I bombed my GMAT and ended up in a second rate school b/c of this. Just keep re-taking the GMAT until you get it.

If you freak out, I can give you one piece of advice - Start meditating.. will calm your mind.. you will do better.. AND, 800score in not GMAT!!!

Hey Guys thanks alot My exam is actually in a couple of days and i did take the veritas full 7 week program and i'm still practicing so hopefully i'll be fine. I noticed that taking the actual practice quiz is what freaks me out the most so i stopped taking tests and i concentrated on solving problems and building my confidence. I am also concentrating on my Verbal which is pretty good right now so even if Math goes wrong English can boost my score...Again thanks guys hopefully i will be here next week telling you how i beat the GMAT...this exam has aged me..LOL
