Hi everybody.

I am a big noob on this forum, and to the GMAT.

I had a question regarding MBA programs. I graduated from University of California at San Diego with a BS in Biology. I didn't do to well, and I never liked biology. I was pretty much forced to go through it, so I tried to wing it as much as possible, got my ass kicked by my classes.

I always had a passion for the business sector. I am working now at a biotech company, and I hope to develop my resume further for more.

With that quick background, I do not have much experience in the business field. I am hoping to build my resume, and perhaps go back to school to prove myself to business schools.

Are there any post bacc programs or short masters programs that a biology student can go to before applying for an MBA?

I want to do well in a program, get straight A's, and get great GMAT scores and get into a GREAT business school.

That's the plan anyway.

Any recommendations? Anyone from my background?

Thank you.

Andrew

I dont know about others, but I'd say apply straight to MBA and try to kill the GMAT (at least 650+), you might be able to get in top 20 still. Best of luck!
