...my 10 cents:
some times marker pens will not write - may be they become dry.
but when we notice this clock will be ticking with first quant question on the screen - it occured to me during my first attempt.
always check if the marker pen immediately u get them.

I can see how this may effect your timing during the test! and if it was to happen it would really SUCK!
thats ridiculous how the test makers can't give us more than 1 pen... when i took the SATs they require we bring more than 1 pencil.. why can't we have more than 1 pen??
the lazy test center admins are the blame for this.. they should test all pens and give new ones every time we have a break.. where is all that $$ we pay for the test going to?? $250 ain't exactly cheap!!!!
