Greetings,

I know there are a lot of postings regarding two courses in this forum, but I would like to get some more *personalized* insights from people who have taken either or both courses.

I've taken GMAT 3 times-- 2 last year, 1 recently-- and my scores always have been mid-600. Math is pretty good but still not *satisfyingly* good, and Verbal is just okay.

I want to take either one of the courses, Manhattan or Kaplan Advanced, and here are my questions:

1. It seems like Manhattan does not offer "advanced" course like Kaplan does. Does it mean Manhattan courses will spend time covering somewhat easier materials for 500-level people? Learning theory may not be a bad idea, but if they are going to cover what I am already familiar with, I am not sure how much I will get out of the course.

2. I am thinking about actually going to the class rather than taking online courses. That way maybe I can participate in a discussion or a study group. But it seems like there are not that many options that fit in my schedule. If I have to take online course,,am I missing out *a lot* by not being able to meet other students and study *together*??
