Manhattan Strategy Guide Books - are they really that good?

Expert replies

Hello,

I am getting some mixed reviews about the MGMAT Strategy books. Some say that you should only buy one of them and then get access to the 6 practice tests. The books themselves are not good, only the tests are worthwhile.
Others say, its too easy, won't really help you to score above 700.
I have also heard that all 10 books are good and should definitely be bought.

My question:
Are they really that good? If yes, then which ones or all?

Appreciate any help.

Hi adigmat2013,

When it comes to evaluating GMAT prep resources, it's difficult to say if the material in question will work for "you." Some people find certain resources to work well, others find the opposite. Before purchasing any material, the practical thing to do is evaluate any free resources that you can. Also, you should take one of the official practice CATs from www.mba.com - this will give you a "starting point" with which you can make a plan, assess your progress later, etc.
