The normal speed of a train is v kilometers per hour, and it takes 24 hours to cover a certain distance. Becaue of th etrack repair, the train was not moving for the first w hours of the trip. Given that the train mantains constant speed when it moves, what was its speed in Kilometers per hour, during the time when the train was moving, if the train completed the route in 24 hours with an average speed of v kilometers per hour.

Not sure why the first sentence is there, it doesn't provide any useful info.

average speed = distance / time

route distance = 24v

time while moving = 24-w

v while moving = 24v / 24-w
