Manhattan Quant much tougher than GMATPrep??

Hi. I have done 2 GMAT Tests within a space of about a day and have slightly different results. On GMATPrep I got total of 640 (Q.48 v.29) and the second test was on the free practice one on the Manhattan website. For that one I got a total of 600 (Q.41 V.30).

One thing I realised was that almost all of the Manhattan Quantitative questions were MUCH MUCH harder than the GMATPrep ones. Did other people find this as well?

Also, if the actual questions on the GMAT test will be similar to the MGMAT Quant section the OG Guide is pretty much useless in my opinion. All the maths questions in the OG guide are simple in my opinion, so where will I be able to find harder questions to practice from?

Thanks..

I'm not sure I would say the Manhattan tests are tougher, but I think that they are more computationally based. I think the GMATPrep, and OG questions are a bit more logic based. Therefore, if you do both you'll build up your computational skills and the OG stuff will help you get used to the format and logic of the test writers a bit better. Have you done all the OG problems? because the ones at the end of the book are tougher at than those at the beginning...
