Is there a significant difference between the 3rd and 4th editions of the 8 books of the Manhattan GMAT study guides? Will studying with the 4th edition of the books give a significant advantage towards a high GMAT score over studying in exactly the same way with the 3rd edition of the books?

Can the same be said about the differences between the 11th and 12th edition of the Official GMAT review guide?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I think the only difference between the 3rd and 4th editions is that the 3rd edition references the OG11 while the 4th editions reference OG12, so buy them according to which Official Guide you have. In regard to the differences between OG 11 and OG 12, I only have 11 so I can't tell you.

Thanks for your help. This will be my first time taking the test and I haven't bought the OG yet. I'm not sure it's worth paying nearly double the price for a book that is slightly newer unless it will make a difference in my score.
