Manhattan GMAT Exam - Score (Q43, V29) Highly disappointed

Hi Guys

I gave the first Manhattan GMAT Test today after preparing for almost 3 months from OG12 & Manhattan guides,, however did not score even near to what I was looking for. I got Q(43) & V(29) :-(

Quant I was not able to attend last 3 questions and in Verbal I was not able to attend last 7 questions. Seems my timing is seriously messed up.

I have the exam schedule in two months and am highly disappointed and broken.....Please suggest what should i do.

I am aiming at a score of atleast 720.

just a few friendly words of encouragement, as i am no expert but rather a student like yourself: don't be discouraged, and remember, if it was easy every one would be getting 700s. definitely get the time management skills developed and practiced -- I'm sure you're practice scores will jump up after that is implemented. stay confident in yourself, in your abilities, and in your preparation! prepare excellently, and then "all you need to do" is execute. let's get it done, my friend!

In the same boat as you.

After my first real CAT (after studying) I realized that this exam is much more than knowing your stuff. Don't be discouraged! (Although I am because I just took an exam and I am not pleased at all).

Did you take a baseline test at the beginning of your prep? Perhaps it's the case that your scores were much lower 3 months ago, and today's scores are a great improvement. For this reason, I always tell students to take a practice test early in their studies. In fact, I recently wrote an article about it: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/2013/05/ ... st-already

Without any baseline information, it's hard to tell what your next steps should be. If your scores were to show a huge improvement, I'd suggest that you keep doing what your doing. If your scores were to show no improvement, then we'd have to make some changes to your prep.
