Hi All,

Second chapter of Manhattan says that:

Incorrect: Does Everyone have their book ?
Correct: Does Everyone have his or her book ?

Can someone please tell how the correct sentence is correct....isn't it breaking the S-V agreement ?

Everyone...have

Shouldn't we have Everyone....has

Thanks
Mohit

I agree with you Mohit. it should be

Everyone....has ....

Manhattan has its own forum for the verbal. You can post it there.

Ron, helps answer most of the questions.
