Square root of 4 is obviously 2.

Cubic root of four is somewhere between 1 and 2.

4th root of four is somewhere between 1 and 2.

Maximum value of M is 2+2+2=6

Minimum value of M is 2+1+1=4

M must be between 4 and 6. It's clear that in this case, M is always greater than 4.
