Not happy with the OA :(
So the question says that X causes Y.Because of the audio bks there was loss of sale of printed books. But this should not be the intended effect right?Audio bks were introduced so that it could reach to a wider audience and theauthor's work would be more widespread. Therefore, the audio bks is hurting the author only!Right? Is'nt this how you analyse a parallel reasoning question?
Please discuss.

I'm in agreement with C as the alternative displaced the established entity. What is the OA?

IMO C.
Reason: The given sentence says that ppl stopped using A because they got a better alternative B.

A: It says ppl stopped using A because B is cheaper. Now this is not parallel to our sentence.
B: Because of A, B also improved. Not parallel.
C: Ppl stopped using brand A because they got a better alternative in terms of brand B. This is parallel, hence correct.
D: Clearly not parallel.
E: A and B both failed. Not parallel.

I hope this explains the reasoning of this question.

I think C is the best in this case.
