Distance travelled and size of the group is related to Diet.Diet depends upon size of teeth and face.

so distance and size is related to size of teeth and face.

Only option E supports that.

It is an inference problem, not a support problem.

How the statement supports (Inference) that -> animal is likely to be a herd animal.

IMO E.

A. defined the new relations(meat->small ranges and small groups) that are not stated in argument.

B. states new information about varied diets vs. one or two diets.

C. again new relationship so irrelevant.

D. from size and shape of face, species are not identified -> not mentioned in the argument.

E. quite possibly related to the information mentioned in the argument.

with all the other answers falling into the category of "could" be true, only E can be right.

A) no such reference to the type of food that animals eat.
B) size? open to possibility.
C) where they travel in the pack is also open for wide range of possibility.
D) words are too strong, "all that is needed".


I guess I don't even care what E says =)

but "is likely" usually makes good candidate.

Type of diet is not mentioned in the passage. So A, B can easily eliminated.
Nowhere in passage it is mentioned that how to determine species of the animal, so eliminate D
Nowhere it is mentioned in the passage about who walks where while travelling. This eliminates C

Therefore answer must be E.
