Hello,
I have been reading up on the forums and have answered many of my own questions thanks to the information posted. One question I would like to post is in regards to finding an online Executive MBA program. Currently I am a Director at one of San Diego's largest corporations with the promise of obtaining VP status in the next 4-6 years. The promotion does not require me to have an MBA but I feel that it would help alleviate some negative circumstances around my promotion with so many other suitors that are more qualified on an education basis (PHD, CPAs and MBAs).
It sounds horrible but for me this would be more of a checklist type deal for me more than the opportunity to learn and network.
So my concerns are, what schools are out there that meet the following criteria:
Online or local to San Diego
Minimal time investment
Cost effective (I will be paying for it myself, and I need it to be as affordable as possible)
Not a bottom dwelling school (I know this will be hard with the above criteria)
Again I hope I did not offend anyone with my question/request. This is just the situation I find myself in.
Thanks in advance.
