I have almost 9 years of IT experience and I am doing well in my job. I am basically from India and I am here in States from last 3 year on office project. I want to have my own business down the line in my career. I have family to support so I cannot leave out my job immediately but down the line if my business does well.

So I decided to go for Executive MBA in entrepreneurship so that
"¢ Learn ground rule for setting up business
"¢ Get support from college & likeminded classmates

I wanted to know is it really making sense to go for Executive MBA in entrepreneurship to establish business.

Also which are the good colleges around the Globe which have Executive MBA in entrepreneurship and does not need TOFEL score. [Only GMAT is required]

Dear vishalGMAT,

Whether or not you need the EMBA to start your business is a determination you have to make. If you do not have any prior business education, then it might be useful. It can also be helpful if you plan to source funds from investors or banks as the MBA will give you some credibility in their eyes. As for what programs to consider, that is something your research should help you decide. EMBA programs do not usually have concentrations, but there are some out there that do. Likewise, TOEFL requirements are school specific, so you would need to verify that with any program. Most US business schools will require the TOEFL.

Good luck,
Lisa
