A plane flies at an average speed of 400 miles per hour from London to Toronto. It departs London at 11:45 in the morning, London time. The distance between London and Toronto is about 3600 miles, and Toronto time is 5 hours earlier than London time. At what hour in the evening, Toronto time, will the plane reach Toronto?
A. 3:45
B. 4:45
C. 6:45
D. 7:45
E. 8:45

Travel time = 3600/400 = 9 hours
Time of arrival (London time) = 11:45 + 9hrs = 20:45
Time of arrival (Toronto time) = 20:45 - 5hrs = 15:45 = 3:45pm

Correct.

The plane takes 9 hours to reach Toronto and so it arrives at 8:45 London time which is 3:45 pm Toronto time.
