The fossil remains from mastodan tusks dating from different periods can be used to identify the average age at which the mastodons reached reproductive maturity.

Now, knowing this information will help us determin whether the graduation disappearance of Mastodons was due to diminshed food or human hunting.

So, IMO its B.

when species are hunted=UMMM less popluation more foood.... abudant resources( i couldtn think of nethign apart from this)
when less food--- there is a delay--- yes... there might be not enuf food to feed for the new comers

so gradual disapperaence---- was hunting?? / food??

a--we know hunting is of the reason-- weapons info not needed
b---age to reach maturity NOPE not needed--differnt age ... period is disturbed--- consider
c--yaa we will know the extinct... but it says grudaul decrease.. so wat was the time frame
d---Male/Female --OOF
e000 Consider

Between B and E

B for me too...
Though i took a longer time in analysis..

Age of reproduction can provide clues that the reproduction age came early or late.. which can further lead to Cause behind extinction
