Given that 2 consecutive integers, starting with –4, List K has –4, –3, –2, –1, 0, 1, ,2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.

The range of positive integers = 7 – 1 = 6.

The correct answer: B

We are given that list K has 12 consecutive integers and that -4 is the least integer in the set. We need to find the largest integer in the list and we can use the following formula:
largest integer – smallest integer + 1 = quantity of integers in the set
largest integer – (-4) + 1 = 12
largest integer + 4 + 1 = 12
largest integer + 5 = 12
largest integer = 7
Thus, the positive integers in the set are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, so the range is 7 – 1 = 6.
Answer: B
