for the first one, draw a line from L to M to pass through the intersection of 2 lines(where we have 45 degrees)...
So we have 2 triangles...adding the degrees of 2 traingles...
90+x+a+90+y+b = 2*180
x+y+a+b=180
we know, a+45+b = 180...
so x+y+(180-45) = 180
x+y = 45... (ans A)
Hope I am clear...
2) p+q+r+s = 360
t+u+v+w = 360
so the average= A = (2*360)/8 = 90 (Ans C)
So we have 2 triangles...adding the degrees of 2 traingles...
90+x+a+90+y+b = 2*180
x+y+a+b=180
we know, a+45+b = 180...
so x+y+(180-45) = 180
x+y = 45... (ans A)

starting from 45* angle
sum of x and y will come out to be 45 degree
2) p+q+r+s = 360
t+u+v+w = 360
so the average= A = (2*360)/8 = 90 (Ans C)
