Line slope query

I have a doubt regarding slope of line

if Line A have slope -5

and Line B have slope 2


which line will have greater slope.

Do we have to consider the magnitude of slope to find which one is greater.

I.e |5|>|2| therefore line A has greater slope than line B

obviously sope of line having 2 as value is greater than line having slope -5....
we don't consider magnitudes....

yes as per I know.. .. -ve slopes will always will less than positive slopes...
same is the case with -5 and 5 , then also I will have to recheck,....
