We can take the letter 'N' as the median in the spelling LINGO if other constraints do not matter. If all the words, with or without meanings, constructed by all the letters in the word LANGUAGE are prepared and arranged in the dictionary order, then at which number in the dictionary order would the first word fall that has the letter 'A' as its median, given that the other constraints do not matter?
(A) 729
(B) 730
(C) 828
(D) 829
(E) 830

Too Ambiguous, IMO

The logic behind selecting the median should be explained in words and not with an example. What happens to the median if the word has even no of letters? Once it is clear, I think question is doable.
