Check the word after Comma
Its X
X is wrongly modifying the right hand side word (1920)of Comma
hence misplaced,IMO

haha this must have complicated the things.
;) let me know if you want further explanation.

colon and semicolon sometimes used in 'event n reasoning' sentences.
e.g.
"Sometimes I really dont recollect to whom I replied to on forums; forums population has increased tremendously."

note that you can also use colon on above example.

From 1920 suggests that X is growing from 1920 till now...

I agree that Since would have been more clear .... but i believe FROM can also use HAS BEEN...

WHTs the OA..??

To be honest, I dont know the answer.
This was one of the questions I came across while giving a test online at some site.

I couldnt check the answer. Sorry for that.

I'm here to strengthen the basics. So would like to know the reasoning behind choosing each of the option.

Solving one SC, you have learning from other 4 options. I wanted to focus on that.

Please dont kick me for not providing the option and the website url. :D
