I am interested in applying for an MBA program in the next year, and am trying to gauge my chances of acceptance with a top 10 program. I have not met many people with a similar background applying for an MBA and therefore am finding it difficult to judge my position.I am a Japanese citizen currently working for a Magic Circle law firm in London, and by the time I apply for an MBA program, will have worked for two years. Unfortunately, owing to the way the system works in the UK, I will have been a trainee solicitor for this period, and will only be a qualified solicitor at the end of this 2 year period. I completed a law degree at Oxford University (graduating with upper second class honors), and was awarded a distinction for my Legal Practice Course. I scored a 740 on my GMAT.
