Q1)Points = 6-n.
We will make other two teams win maximum points.
Team A can get positions : 1,5 or 2,4
Team B can get positions : 2,4 or 1,5
So, team C has to get 3rd position. So, points = 6-3 =3
Q2)In city, mileage is 25 miles/gallon. So 1gallon -> 25 miles
When it travels 10miles in city, fuel consumed = 10/25 = 0.4 gallons
On highway, mileage is 40 miles/gallon. So 1gallon -> 40 miles
When it travels 50miles on highway, fuel consumed = 50/40 = 1.25 gallons
So, overall mileage = (10+50)/(0.4+1.25) = 60/1.65 =36.36..
Hence, D

And, diameter of circle T = √2a
Therefore, (Area of circle T)/(Area of circle S) = (Diameter of circle T)²/(Diameter of circle S)² = (√2)² = 2
The correct answer is C.
Say, the length of a side of the square = aThe diameter of circle S is equal in length to a side of a square. The diameter of circle T is equal in length to a diagonal of the same square. The area of circle T is how many times the area of circle S?
Hence, diameter of circle S = a
And, diameter of circle T = √2a
Therefore, (Area of circle T)/(Area of circle S) = (Diameter of circle T)²/(Diameter of circle S)² = (√2)² = 2
The correct answer is C.

not sure about the approach on the second one, so ill write out my reasoning.
he was getting 25 MPG on 10/60 miles of the trip and getting 40 MPG on 50/60 miles of the trip.
weighted average seems to be (250+2000)/60 = 37.5 = E
