Original mistakes are genuine mistakes. Admissions committee read 10,000s of applications.
Do you think you have made a blunder in the past that you can come out as a leader, address it on paper and then address lessons learned?
Business schools are looking for future leaders, not copy cats. If you want your application to reach the review table, you might as well take your changes and be honest, be yourself in that essay. The minute committee feels you are not genuine, your application can end up being wait listed or rejected. Take it from someone who has been a part of the committee.
