Last questions of GMAT Quant

by Aditya57 » Wed Jun 29, 2011 7:43 am
I have a doubt regarding the questions that occur in the quant section of GMAT .I've taken some 6 practise tests and have always found that i'm running out of time in solving the last 7-8 questions and by fate or fact majority of the questions have been from D.S. The time it takes for solving these last D.S questions are too much. In the real GMAT do the D.S questions keep popping with same frequency at the end? Please reply as I want to build a strategy for my final GMAT.

No nothign like that. You may or you may not. On the real GMAT, you should see about 22 PS and 15 DS questions (give or take 1).

So if you have got to a certain level and the system gave you a DS question at that time, then it is possible that you get a PS question next. I mean any permutation can happen at the test.

Work on improving your speed. Use a timer and work at problems fast. Practice can get you there. Instead of tests, take sets of practice quant problems with strict timings.
Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert. :)
