laminated sheets and marker - gmat test veterans pls respond

In trying to adequately prepare for the actual GMAT, I am trying to recreate what the scratch pad or laminated sheets and markers look like, instead of buying another graph paper notebook. I have taken a picture of what I created.

Can someone please tell me if this is close to what it really looks like? If not, can anyone who has taken the GMAT pls advise as to what type of marker (actual brand and unit would be great) and the exact dimensions of the laminated sheets are used?

Your picture didn't come out very clear.

When I took the test, these were the pens/markers that I was issued:

I can't remember if they were fine or medium tip. The exact brand/model of the pen may even vary from test center to test center.

As for the scratch pad, I only remember that the grid lines were actually quite heavy, making it quite hard sometimes to write against (as in it would get quite difficult to read my notes against the background). There are some companies selling model scratch pads. Like:

The one I got had a white background, though. Just remember to test the marker before you enter the testing room to make sure there's ink, and change your pad whenever you take your breaks.
