I'm preparing for the GMAT: I'm an Italian engineer, 26, working in a telecomnunication company after three years as a consultant.

I've studied on the OG and on the Kaplan (GMAT Premier Program), and I have scheduled my exam on December, 18th.

I'm quite puzzled as, even if I practiced a lot (I've been devoting 1,5 hour every evening for almost two months), I'm actually lacking improvement: as I started, I was scoring, in complete practice tests, around 550 (but I was using the Kaplan); now, in Manhattan and GMATPrep I'm scoring aroung 660. My best score in the Verbal and Quantitative (but in different tests) have been 42.

Considering that I read that Kaplan scores are usually lower that others, I've got almost any improvement. I'm thinking that there is something wrong in my study methodology.

What are, in your opinion, the most common errors in practicing (not enogh time time devoted in reviewing, to strategy, to error analysis)?

My target would be a score in the 700s, as I would like to apply in schools like INSEAD or HEC...
