The subject of the sentence = "Mona monkeys"

Its plural, which is very much clear from the first sentence by the words "Have".

So Effectively we are Narrowed down to B or E which contains "their"

After which i am pretty much unclear about how to proceed.

My best guess would be "Being a delicacy" will not be preferred over "Considered a Delicacy".

So with what i am able to attack the question i would choose E over B.

But experts, your help is much needed in this question...

By the way a good question. This kind of question appears frequently in GMAT..

To add to my previous response "Considered as " => Is unidiomatic.

i will also go with either b and e being is always avoidable in gmat hence i think B will be incorrect and E left.

B can be striked off straight away because we can't say considered as... E should be correct

I receiving a PM asking me to comment.

In A, C, and D, the singular pronoun its does not agree with the plural referrent Monkeys. Eliminate A, C and D.

In B, considered as being is not idiomatic. The correct idiom is X is considered Y. Eliminate B.

The correct answer is E.
