C is perfectly fine here.
Clenching and grinding cause erosion, but erosion can happen when teeth grind against hard substances.
that means teeth have hard enamel.

Thumbs up to this ques!

Notice the arg. says erosion is caused when teeth grind against something hard. But what do teeth grind against? They grind against teeth.......so teeth have to be hard to cause erosion on teeth. That is why C is the right answer. It says teeth have to be hard which we just figured so it only strengthens the arg.
