Kaplan ratio

Hi,

Am having doubts about this question from Kaplan:

What is b in terms of a if the ratio of a to b is b, and b is greater than 0?

A) sq root a
B) a
C) 2a
D) a^2
E) 2a^2

I ´m placing my money on A, but then again this only works if a to b is a fraction and not a ratio . . .

PS, Founder, I hope Iäm not double posting. I couldn't find this in the first 200/600 search results for 'Kaplan ratio'. Please forgive me if I am!

A ratio can always be written as a fraction

A:B can be written as A/B

So in this case A is the answer

A/B=B
A=B^2
B=sq root A
