Kaplan Premier vs Kaplan 800

How do these two books compare? I've heard that Kaplan 800 has some of the hardest questions, but I'm using Kaplan Premier Program. I did some of the problem solving and sentence correction on their cd last night, and they just all seemed so easy. So, I'm wondering if the premier program has similar questions or are they easy. Maybe I'm just really smart, but I don't think thats it.

Kaplan 800 features the hardest GMAT problems I've seen--in terms a well-rounded set of practice problems however, I think that Kaplan Premier is better.

How have you been doing on practice tests? You might be a natural test taker. It's rare to hear people say that Kaplan is easy...

I haven't taken the practice tests yet; I'm going to take the first one this weekend. I am usually good at tests, but no test I've taken is like this.

When I go through the problems in the book, I feel pretty confident. Then sometimes I get stumped on questions here and lose some of that confidence. I'm thinking that may be because people only usually post harder questions that they can't figure out. Has anybody else felt the same way?

If you are feeling pretty confident going through the Kaplan problems and you are getting those problems correct, then you may indeed be a natural standardized test taker. Take a GMATPrep test this weekend and see how you do--hopefully you won't have to do that much study after all to score well on the test!

Well I took a GMATPrep test and scored a 700. I wasn't too comfortable with all of the quantitative, I definately need to be able to recognize how to solve problems faster. I just got all 3 OG books, so I plan on going through all 3 of those and taking the test in October.
