Hi All,
I am new to this forum and am beginning to prepare for GMAT. I am trying to get through ISB Hyderabad. I have heard it requires a minium score of 700 to get into ISB. I have taken up GMAT prep test and my score was 490. I know only one thing that i have to any how improve my score to more than 700. currently i am refferin OG 10th and 11th , KAPLAN GMAT verbal WORKBOOK , GMAT OG FOR VERBAL. My verbal part is below average , so i am concentrating more on that . can any one suggest what other things to refer . to improve my verbal ability for GMAT.

Regards

Improving from 490 to 700+ although difficult is not impossible. Develop a good game plan to tackle verbal. A well organized study plan will help you. Please search through the strategy forum to find various study plan which have been proven successful. Also read the debriefings from the "I just beat the gmat" section. You'll get tons of ideas on how to beat the gmat.

Also, if you can afford it, getting a tutor or joining a prep course will also be a good option to get some professional help.

And remember the keyword is "PRACTICE".

Good luck..
