Ok so I started studying for the GMATs about a month ago with the goal of getting a 700. I rolled through the OG 11th Edition and the Manhattan SC Guide in the past month. I just took my first official GMAT Prep CAT yesterday and to my surprise scored a 720 (49 Q, 40 V).

I was very happy, but I definitely have some areas I need to work on from here on out. I'm hoping to focus my studies from here on.

Sentence Correction is a huge problem with me. I got 6 of these wrong on the prep test. I just ordered the SC Bible, so I definitely plan on going through that. I do fairly well otherwise on CR and RC with some dumb errors here and there.

I'm also very strong in Quant, but the DS part messes with me sometimes, so I definitely need to work on that.

From here on out, I have about 7 weeks left as I'm taking the GMAT at the end of September. The plan is to study about 4 nights a week, 2-3 hours per night. I have the Kaplan 2009 edition, Kaplan 800, and both the Quant and Verbal Suppliment guides. I'm going to go through all of them. I'm also going to take a CAT test on Sundays every week. Anyone recommend the Kaplan test, or purchasing the Manhattan GMAT tests?

Either way, I'm excited to be at 720 level now, and hopefully I can improve a bit and get it up to 750ish!
