After taking the GMAT for the 2nd time (and getting the same score - 450 ), I had a hunch that I wouldn't be accepted to the program for the fall. I was correct! I wasn't looking for any favors, I am actually relieved. I have a lot going on this coming year between work (we're moving our school - the one that I work for, not the b-school) and my personal life has had few bumps.

I'm not going to lie, it would have been nice to get started with the degree program. So now I will graduate in 2015, not 2014 like I would have liked.

My Dean put it best - "we're not going to fire you, and it's their loss anyway."

I'm wondering if there are any other higher ed folks out there that were in my boat. :) Well, folks, get used to me being here for the next few months. Let the reapplying begin!
