Just as learning commonly tested idioms can improve one's GMAT verbal score, so too can memorizing formulas improve one's GMAT quantitative score.

Hi experts,
A. Just as learning commonly tested idioms can improve one's GMAT verbal score, so too can memorizing formulas improve one's GMAT quantitative score.
B. Just as learning commonly tested idioms can improve one's GMAT verbal score, memorizing formulas can also improve one's GMAT quantitative score.
C. Just like the learning of commonly tested idioms can improve one's GMAT verbal score, so too can memorizing formulas improve one's GMAT quantitative score.
D. Just like learning commonly tested idioms can improve one's GMAT verbal score, also memorizing formulas can improve one's GMAT quantitative score.
E. As learning commonly tested idioms can improve one's GMAT verbal score, memorizing formulas can improve one's GMAT quantitative score.

The official answer is A.
but is the sentence parallel?
Is this an inverted sentence structure .?? can inverted sentence structure be parallel to a normal sentence structure ..
Please help..

A is correct and parallel. And yes, it does contain an inverted sentence structure. This is required after SO TOO. In other words, JUST AS ... SO TOO requires a parallel structure, but with the twist that the verb in the second clause should be inverted. (And when you use JUST AS, you have to follow it with SO or with SO TOO.) Look at these examples:

Just as drinking milk PROVIDES the body with calcium, so too DOES drinking fruit-juice PROVIDE it with essential vitamins..
Just as intensive mental activity CAN BRING ON headaches, so too CAN intensive physical activity BRING ON stiff, sore muscles.
Just as the early twentieth century SAW a massive stock-market crash, so too DID the early twenty-first century SEE a huge financial crisis.

Therefore, the structure used in option A, so too can memorizing formulas improve ... is as parallel with the structure in the first clause as the grammar of the sentence will permit.
