Just a query

by frank1 » Mon Nov 01, 2010 9:49 pm
Please dont take it otherwise,i fell into some sort of problem so i thought i need ask it(i tried but could not avoid it).

Thanks for all the efforts.Really enjoyed playing and more over learned many things which i feel was the intention of the game.
(Thanks once again)^1000

But i have fallen in to bit coincidence which has created bit problem for me.
Thing is i have won one admission consulting with MBAmission Expert. But it is my own problem that i am not applying to any US school now.Infact my admission process is almost done and i need to just take gmat so that i met their requirement of gmat and i get into it and get into higher order in admission list.(means all set up and done)

Ok i agree it my problem.
But since consultancy may not be that useful now(i dont need consulting for school i am applying for) and i was always behind some gmat course so that i can improve gmat score,i have some other person who requires it and s/he is ready to give me gmat resources i need.(i value prize and i wont sell them)
so just my simple query, please dont take it otherwise
Is prize transferable or Can i exchange it(offcourse if others agree-better for both)

sorry if i should not have asked it.But as i say at this point of time, consulting is of less use to me and i need gmat prep.

I fully respect the prize and agree prize is prize.Ok no problem even if it is not transferable.Just trying to make it more productive in a given situation if it is possible.I read rules but couldnot find any thing about it.

Thanks for contest and prize once again.

Ok thanks.
As it is transferrable,I think i will give it to some-one who can give provide me gmat preparation course and who needs admission consultancy.I need gmat course more now.
Ok thanks and i will manage it.

No prob. Frank, please let me know when you figure out who you'd like to exchange your prize with. It's important that you let me know so that I can let our sponsors know. Thanks again for playing the $100K challenge.

Hi Frank1 - Are you asking for a trade.....GMAT course for consulting prize. I just started the ManhattanGMAT self study prep but could use the consulting prize. I am an older applicant (34) and could you use some guidance. I am not sure if i can transfer it since i started (i doubt it) but will ask and let you know. But if your feeling generous and can't find a trader let me know. I could certainly use the consulting help. In either case I wish you the best in your studies and goals.

Ok really thanks.
May be one final question.

Is there any time limitation(boundary) up to which we need to use that(2 hours consulting)? If i can use it after 1 month(which i felt is not allowed),in that case it may be useful to me.I am planning to take gmat with in november.

The prize might open a new door for me.(atleast it has given me new vision and possibilities)

The one reason i have not applied(or thinking of applying) to top US colleges is that i dont think i will be able to fight in that 700+ gmat score fight as on now.I have reached upto 690 in prep test. But not consistent. So gave up the thought of applying to usa and now applying to europe despite being a university topper of my batch and have around 4 years experience.(as said earlier the college of europe i am planning for doesnt have high requirements that why i think consultancy may not be required).I am not native english speaker which has laid me down in GMAT*(-debatable) which discounts my whole candidacy for top business school(as must good universitity has 700 as their minimum gmat score even to be considerd. So gave up that US B school thought..(My prep test quat mean 45,verbal 30-35).

Competition has open new oppurtunities(which can change my whole life) so thanks to the competition and another lesson learned NEVER OVER-REACT.
Really thanks to beatthegmat.
