Solution:

In the first week, Joe uses 1/4 x 360 = 90 gallons of paint, so 270 gallons are left.

Then, in the second week, he uses 1/5 x 270 = 54 gallons of paint.

So, in total he has used 90 + 54 = 144 gallons.

Answer: B
